Executive Chef, Jason Cline has more than 20 years in the restaurant business around the United States, whipping up amazing dishes in culinary promised lands such as San Francisco and Los Angeles. In 2008, Jason, felt it was time to come back to his home town with his new found talents to join the evolving culinary scene in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Acting as Executive Chef at two acclaimed fine dining restaurants, The Birchwood Inn, and Bin 27 Bistro, Jason felt it was time to change it up a little bit and use his talents to bring amazing tasting food with an affordable cost. Spending countless nights thinking of the perfect restaurant concept, he saw that a friend and mentor had opened a poke shop in Chicago. Realizing that concept would be a great addition to the bay area, Jason decided to bring his own Poke Shop, Poke Rose to the Tampa Bay area, focusing on fresh, healthy poke bowls in a fast casual atmosphere.

Jason Cline has known his calling was in hospitality since he was thirteen years old when he began washing dishes at a local restaurant. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University, Cline honed his craft with some of the country’s finest chefs from restaurants in Orlando, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco before returning home to St Petersburg, Florida. Once back in the Tampa Bay, he was the Executive Chef of The Birchwood and Bin 27 Bistro before starting his own restaurant group. He is now the Executive Chef and owner of Poke Rose, bringing globally inspired healthy poke bowls to the Tampa Bay area.

Daniel Cline began working in restaurants at the age of sixteen in Buffalo, New York as a busser. He then joined the Air Force National Guard where he spent more than ten years as an aircraft inspector. After the Air Force, Daniel spent three years in southern Afghanistan in Quality Management, overseeing food service, base construction, and various other services provided to the US Army. As the mission in Afghanistan wound down, Daniel decided to move to St. Petersburg to join his cousin, Jason, former Executive Chef of the Birchwood, in starting a restaurant group. Working in the background, Daniel’s job is to ensure that the quality of Poke Rose is maintained and exceeds the highest expectations and standards, which progressively grow every day in the Tampa Bay
